About
Grassland Veterinary Service
Grassland Veterinary Service was established in 1981
as a dairy practice. In 1989, companion animal services
were added. In 1993 the clinic was remodeled to accommodate
the growing companion animal portion of the practice,
and to update the busy large animal practice. We currently
have 2 large animal and 1 small animal veterinarians
on staff.
We are proud to offer our patients the best animal
care we know how to give. Whether it’s for a routine
examination, serious health issue, surgery, herd health
or nutrition, when you call on us, you can count on
good service from good people.
The doctors and staff at Grassland Veterinary Service
know what your animals mean to you and your family.
Whether it is your best friend, your herding dog, your
livestock, or your horse, we can help.

Tips
When Choosing a Veterinarian
• Convenience & Location
- Especially when considering emergency service.
• Trust
- Will the Veterinarian meet with you for an interview?
Have a list of questions to ask concerning your animal.
You have the right to know about your Veterinarian views
on animal care, medicinal uses, and even educational
background. Watch to see how the doctor interacts with
your animal. Does the doctor treat your animal in the
same manner you do?
• Personal Service
- What things do they do to make you feel like you and
your pet are being taken care of. Do they really seem
to care about you and your animal? Do they offer the
type of documentation or information you need, and when
you need it?
• Recommendations
- Which clinic do your friends and coworkers recommend?
The best recommendation is from people you know and
trust. What experiences have they had?
